The Nebraska Nurses Association (NNA) invites nurses, healthcare professionals, educators, researchers, and leaders to submit proposals for presentations at the 2026 NNA Annual Convention, celebrating 120 years of nursing excellence in Nebraska. This milestone event will reflect on the profession’s rich legacy while exploring innovative ideas, leadership strategies, and emerging practices that will shape the future of nursing and healthcare in Nebraska.
We seek dynamic, interactive presentations that inspire nurses, advance professional practice, and provide practical strategies attendees can apply in their work. Sessions should explore topics that contribute to the continued advancement of the nursing profession.
Target Audience
Convention attendees include front-line nurses, nursing managers/directors, nursing school faculty and student nurses.
Presentation Format
- Session Length
- General Session – 60 minutes
- Breakout Session – 45 minutes
- The Annual Convention will take place all day on Thursday October 1st and morning only on Friday October 2nd. Sessions are available both days of the Convention.
Presentations should include practical takeaways, tools, or clear calls to action that attendees can implement in their professional settings.
