NNA Call to Lead
This is a dynamic time for the Nebraska Nurses Association. Nurses are working collaboratively to create the future of NNA as it restructures the organization and expands member benefits. Offer your talents and leadership skills by submitting your name as a candidate for one of the NNA positions below. Most committee terms are two years in length.
To be eligible to serve on the Board of Directors, a person shall:
a. hold current individual membership in ANA/NNA.
b. not concurrently serve as an officer or director of another organization, if such participation might result in a conflict of interest with NNA.
OPPORTUNITY TO LEAD:
Now is a great time to consider stepping into leadership of NNA. Board of Directors terms of office are listed below. Committee members serve two-year terms that run from January – December. If you wish to appear on the NNA ballot, please complete the Leadership Profile application.

- NPDC- NURSING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE MEMBER (4 POSITIONS)
Nursing Practice Member x2, Nursing Faculty Member, and Nursing Professional Educator
- GFMC- GOVERNANCE, FINANCE, AND MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE (5 POSITIONS)
Staff Nurse, Nursing Manager/Administrator, Rural Member x2, Urban Member
