
NNA/NNP Joint Convention: “Nursing – Putting the pieces together: Where do you fit?”
The Nebraska Nurses Association and the Nebraska Nurse Practitioners invite you to participate in our joint convention ‘Nursing – Putting the Pieces Together: Where Do You Fit?‘ scheduled for October 2 — 4, 2019 at the Younes Conference Center in Kearney, Nebraska.
Our associations have joined forces to create a powerful opportunity for education and collaboration. We anticipate a large number of nurse practitioners, nurses, student nurses and other health care providers in attendance.

Registration
Deadline for registration is September 20, 2019.
Registrations received after September 20, 2019 will be assessed a $50.00 late fee.
NNA and NNP Members should receive an email with a registration discount code. You must enter this code during registration in order to receive the member pricing discount. If you did not receive a registration discount code, please contact the Midwest MSD office at .
* Student pricing (all levels) require an official school transcript to receive the advertised rate. If no transcript can be provided, then additional fees will be assessed. No CE credits will be awarded to those registering at the student rate. If you wish to attend the NNA/NNP Awards Dinner, additional fees will apply.

Lodging
A block of rooms has been reserved at the Farifield Inn & Suites and Hampton Inn in Kearney. Room blocks will be available after August 15, 2019 at each property. Reservations must be made no later than

Accreditation
The most contact hours a participant can earn is 18.0. The most pharmacotherapeutic hours a participant can earn is 7.5.
In order to receive nursing contact hours, participants must complete a verification of attendance form, attend each session in its entirety and complete the online evaluation by the deadline provided. No exceptions will be made.
The Midwest Multistate Division is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Agencies/Companies/Pharmaceutical Companies/Hospitals/Schools of Nursing are invited to be an exhibitor at the upcoming conference. Exhibits will be held on Thursday, October 3 only.
The convention provides you with an excellent opportunity to have direct contact and network with student nurses, nurses and advanced practice registered nurses in a variety of decision-making roles. You will be able to communicate the value of your medication, product or service to individuals in all levels of nursing. The convention also provides the setting for RNs, APRNs and students to examine employment opportunities.
